I am Samuel Kabiru Githuku, an award-winning filmmaker and passionate photographer with a sharp eye for detail and storytelling. My creative journey took shape at the Africa Digital Media Institute (ADMI), where I discovered a deep love for directing. I directed our Semester 2 project, an experience that helped me develop strong leadership and creative skills behind the camera.
I was also a producer on the short film Chronoshift for the 48-Hour Film Project competition. The film went on to win Best Acting and Best Production Design, a proud milestone in my filmmaking journey. Another highlight of my work is Interrogation, a short film I directed that was so well received, ADMI featured it on their official website.
In addition to directing, I’m a skilled video editor. I've edited multiple projects including Interrogation and a trailer titled Buried in a Barstraw, which is featured on my LinkedIn profile. Currently, I'm interning at Nation Media Group, where I continue to grow and refine my video editing expertise in a professional newsroom environment.
With every project I take on, I strive to bring stories to life through powerful visuals, thoughtful direction, and precision editing.
